Editorial and clinical standards
How this regional education site separates general information, verified practice services and case-specific clinical decisions.

What this site is
OrthodonticsInKamloops.com is a regional educational resource presented by Blue Bird Dental, Hillside Dental and River City Dental. It is not a separate orthodontic clinic and it does not create a dentist-patient relationship.
Diagnosis before appliance
Clinical pages explain orthodontic concepts and patient questions. They do not diagnose from photographs, select an appliance for an individual patient, guarantee a result, or replace an examination and appropriate records interpreted by a licensed provider.
Provider and specialist language
A general dentist may provide some orthodontic services. A provider is not described as a certified orthodontic specialist unless current specialty registration has been independently verified. Readers are directed to the BC College of Oral Health Professionals public register when credentials matter.
Participating-practice claims
Practice names, addresses, phone numbers and service claims are maintained in an internal verification registry with a source URL, verification date and limitation notes. If the current evidence does not clearly verify a service, public copy instructs the reader to confirm directly with the office.
Sources
Clinical content prioritizes BCCOHP, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists where appropriate, peer-reviewed literature where needed and official manufacturer information for product-specific facts. Local pages prioritize the City of Kamloops, Thompson Rivers University and other primary local sources.
Local-area pages
Neighbourhood pages are for regional orientation and appointment planning. They do not claim that a participating office exists in every neighbourhood, invent drive times or use geography as a substitute for clinical suitability.
Review and correction process
Substantive pages display a review date. Content should be rechecked when regulation, clinical guidance, practice scope, product information or local facts change. Material corrections should update both the visible content and the page-data registry.
Emergencies
This website is not an emergency service. For pain, swelling, trauma, breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, infection or an appliance causing injury, contact a local dentist, treating provider or emergency service directly.
